How do I download the app?
Greek Lifts is available free on the App Store and Google Play. Search for 'Greek Lifts' or use the download buttons on greeklifts.app. After installing, your chapter's exec board will invite you in — you can't sign up to a chapter until exec adds your email to the roster.
How do I get paid for taking a shift?
Open the app, go to Settings → Payouts, and tap Set Up Payouts. This launches a guided Stripe Connect onboarding flow where you'll verify your identity and connect a U.S. bank account. Once Stripe has approved your account you'll be able to claim listed shifts and receive payouts automatically.
How long do payouts take?
After someone claims your listed shift, the bounty is paid out by Stripe and typically lands in your bank account within 1–2 business days for U.S. accounts. The first payout to a brand-new Stripe account can take up to 7 business days while Stripe completes its initial verification.
How do I cancel my chapter's subscription?
Only the chapter president (or whichever exec member is set as the billing contact) can cancel the chapter subscription. From the exec dashboard, go to Chapter → Billing → Manage Subscription. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. If you're stuck, email support@greeklifts.app and we'll help you out.
I'm having trouble setting up Stripe — what do I do?
If Stripe is rejecting your information, double-check that your legal name and date of birth match a government-issued ID exactly. If the issue is your bank account, make sure it's a U.S. checking account in your own name (Stripe Connect cannot pay out to prepaid cards, savings accounts at some banks, or accounts owned by someone else). If you're still stuck, email support@greeklifts.app with a description of the error message and we'll dig in.
